2.2 Social Media Accounts

When you connect social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok), we store OAuth access tokens, account identifiers, and profile information necessary to publish content on your behalf. We do not store your social media passwords.

2.3 Content Data

We store the content you create using our platform, including text posts, captions, hashtags, AI-generated images, brand kit information (logos, colors, guidelines), and scheduling data.

2.4 Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the service, including features accessed, content generation activity, and credit usage for analytics and service improvement.

2.5 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We retain your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Generate AI-powered content tailored to your brand
  • Publish content to your connected social media accounts
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send service-related communications
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the platform

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these cases:

  • Social media platforms: Content you choose to publish is sent to the respective platforms via their APIs.
  • AI providers: Content prompts are sent to AI services (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) for content and image generation. These providers process data per their own privacy policies.
  • Payment processor: Stripe processes your payment information.
  • Google Drive: If you use the export feature, data is sent to your connected Google Drive account.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure infrastructure. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. OAuth tokens for social media accounts are stored securely in our database. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data, content, and connected account tokens within 30 days. Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Export all your data via the Data Export feature in Settings.
  • Correction: Update your information through your account settings.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
  • Disconnect: Remove connected social media accounts at any time from Settings.
  • Portability: Export your data in JSON or CSV format.

8. Facebook and Instagram Data

When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account, we access data through the Meta Platform APIs. This includes your page information, profile data, and the ability to publish content. We use this data solely to provide our content publishing service. You can disconnect your Facebook or Instagram account at any time from the Settings page, which will delete the associated tokens from our system.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session cookies via NextAuth). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
